Valentine #24 October 1959
In "My Wish Came True," chambermaid Diana finds herself unexpectedly swept into a romantic evening after a chance encounter with a guest during her afternoon off—though she never tells him she’s not a guest herself. When illness forces her to cover for the usual maid on the fourth floor, she’s stunned to discover her evening companion is the very guest whose room she now must clean. Jordi Longarón’s expressive artwork brings the quiet tension and delicate charm of the moment to life, capturing a fleeting connection that blurs the lines between duty and desire.
