As Christmas gifts for his staff, Mr. Stevens gives the younger girls perfume, but gives Lily a ticket for the Gala Theatre on Saturday, December 1st. Lily is slightly offended, but it turns out that Trevor's gift was a ticket for an adjoining seat at the theatre on the same night.
