Buck forces Pam to bring back a hired car and drive him away. As they drive away, Pam realizes that her mum is no longer in danger from him so she intentionally wrecks the car. She awakens to find her arm badly hurt. But instead of thinking of himself, Buck goes back to the village to get a doctor to save her arm, knowing he will be caught.
