Valentine #21 April 1973
In "Beautiful Butterfly," Gina's jealousy takes a dangerous turn when she attempts to drown Paula in a speedboat, only for Paula to be rescued by two unknown men. After attending Carlo's funeral, where Gina flees upon seeing Paula, the two women share a quiet moment that reveals Gina's true motives—her interest in Carlo was only for his wealth. With a quiet act of kindness, Paula secretly transfers his fortune to Marcello, shielding him from Gina's suspicions, before returning to England. The story unfolds with emotional tension and quiet resolve, illustrated with striking detail by Jordi Franch Cubells, whose artwork brings the drama to life on the cover by the same hand.
