“Yesterday's Dream”

In "Yesterday's Dream," a poignant moment unfolds as Gay confides in Pierre about the quiet loss she feels after her relationship with Don begins to fade. The next day, a chance encounter at the beach reveals a surprising twist—Don’s sudden "business call" was a carefully arranged ruse, and the girl running from him to Pierre is no stranger. With Jorge Badía Romero handling both art and inks, this emotionally charged issue captures a fleeting, bittersweet moment of connection and deception.

Gay tells Pierre that a certain something has vanished with her relationship with Don and he seems very sympathetic. The next day she sees Don at the beach with another girl after telling Gay he had to make a sudden business call. As Gay is walking out of the hotel, the girl on the beach runs from Don to Pierre. Sensing their relationship was in the doldrums, Don had arranged the switch... just for an hour.
