Valentine #16 July 1960
In "Travellin' Light," Laura escapes the monotony of village life with a bold decision: she swaps a predictable trip to Brightmouth for a spontaneous ride in a stranger’s hot air balloon. With her boyfriend left behind, she finds herself soaring above the English countryside—only to wake up the next morning in France, miles from where they began. Antonio Romero’s expressive art brings the adventure to life, capturing both the quiet longing of the village and the wide-eyed wonder of a journey that never was meant to happen.

Laura finds her life in the village dull. She wants to go to France, but her boyfriend insists on going to Brightmouth with his mother, as usual. At Brightmouth, she sees a man looking for volunteers to go up with him in his balloon. Against her boyfriend's wishes, she volunteers. But the man in the balloon has never been up in one before and doesn't know how to get them down. They sleep in the balloon overnight and wake up to find it has landed in France.
