“Miracle Monday”

"Miracle Monday" is a quietly poignant slice of life from Valentine #14, a 1970 British comic priced at 8d. José M.ª Beá’s expressive artwork brings to life Lindy’s fleeting hope as she waits each Monday for the man she’s drawn to—until this one, when Carl’s sudden presence on her train leads to an unexpected, bittersweet connection. The story captures a moment of fragile connection, where two people find brief joy in each other’s company before facing the reality of their separate lives.
