Valentine #13 September 1969
In "Off-Duty Romance," Anne finds her usual role as the quiet observer upended when a famous TV actor appears unexpectedly outside her window—something Jane, her effortlessly popular friend, refuses to believe. With the familiar rhythm of her life thrown into disarray, Anne faces a rare moment of doubt: could this real-life encounter finally be hers, even as Jane’s shadow looms? Artur Aldomà Puig’s expressive artwork brings the quiet tension and subtle charm of this 1969 IPC comic to life, capturing a moment of fleeting possibility in a world where love often feels just out of reach.
