“Counterplot”

In "Counterplot," Maggie returns to the world of Joe, the fashion photographer she once knew from their days working in a local store—she in perfume, he behind the lens. Now a successful man with a possessive girlfriend and a guarded demeanor, Joe is a shadow of the gentle soul she remembers. As Maggie tries to reconnect, the past and present collide in a quiet but tense moment that hints at deeper currents beneath the surface. Art by Miguel Fuster brings the emotional weight of the story to life with subtle, expressive detail.

Maggie had been Joe's first model when they worked together in a local store, he in photography and she in the perfume section. Now, Joe is a successful fashion photographer. Maggie is staying with the aunt for a couple of days and decides to see if there was still a chance with Joe. But Joe has a possessive girlfriend/secretary and Maggie can see that the gentle Joe she once knew no longer exists.
