Jean runs into Paul. He tells her how pleased he is that Jean got engaged to Gary and they remember their childhood growing up together. Jean was always Gary's girl and he was her hero. To protect his memory, Jean doesn't tell Paul that Gary didn't want to live up to being a hero. Jean caught him cheating on her and, that night, he was killed in a motorbike accident with the other girl. Jean takes Gary to the cemetery and tells him Gary has died. Jean wonders if there might be a future with Paul.
