Julie gets on the same morning bus with the same four passengers who never speak to each other in the same rainy weather as usual. But as the bus comes to the same old crossroads, it takes a wrong turn. The passengers demand an explanation and the driver stops five miles later on a remote country road. It's his last day and he's decided to go to Cocklebeach-on-Sea. They can either go with him or wait for another bus. Each passenger goes with him and they have a marvelous day. For Julie and another passenger, they find true love with each other.
