This is the first volume of Junji Ito's horror manga series Uzumaki, originally published in Japanese by Shogakukan in 1998. It collects the opening chapters of the story, which follows the residents of Kurôzu-cho as they become increasingly obsessed and transformed by a mysterious spiral pattern that begins to appear everywhere in their town.
