The sixth volume in Standaard Uitgeverij's omnibus series packs five complete Urbanus strips into one hefty album — terrific value for fans of Belgium's beloved comic creation. The cover, by the Linthout and Urbanus duo, captures the grinning, wide-eyed Urbanus himself surrounded on all sides by a chaotic mob of bizarre green monsters and strange creatures, all rendered in that gloriously unhinged cartoon style the series is known for. If you've ever wanted a big, boisterous dose of absurdist Flemish humor, this 2017 collection is a very fine place to dive in.
