Universal War One #3
The third volume of Denis Bajram's Universal War One carries a title — "Kaïn en Abel" — that resonates immediately with the cover's stark imagery: two figures in red flight suits stride forward from darkness, one clearly human and composed, the other grotesquely skeletal and decaying, both emerging from a tangle of root-like tendrils spreading across the ground. Bajram's cover art (pencils and inks both his own) captures that ancient tension between two opposing forces with striking economy — black void, crimson suits, and one helmet dangling from each figure's hand like a discarded identity. This 2011 Daedalus edition is a compelling entry point into Bajram's ambitious science-fiction saga.
