This anthology issue features two stories: "Fritzi Ritz" by Ernie Bushmiller, in which Fritzi encounters various misadventures at a beach setting, including interactions with a silhouette artist and encounters that result in mishaps with paint and a life-size silhouette. "Abbie an' Slats" depicts the opening of the Hagstone-Astoria hotel in Crabtree Corners, where the S.L.O.B.S. (a group of old acquaintances) cause chaos during the ceremonial ribbon-cutting and subsequent banquet, with one member seeking revenge for past wrongs committed against him.
