Unfollow #9

Vertigo's Unfollow continues its unsettling meditation on surveillance and social media with issue #9, and Matt Taylor's cover says it all: a lone figure stands with his back to us in a narrow, shadowy alley while an enormous, all-seeing eye looms in the amber sky above — perfectly echoing the story title "God Is Watching." Rob Williams, Mike Dowling, and colorist Quinton Winter keep delivering the kind of darkly comic tension that earned IGN's praise for making readers "uncomfortably laugh in the face of its more serious moments." If you're not already following this series, this moody, thought-provoking issue is a fine place to look up.
