Uncle Scrooge #387

A snowy wilderness sets the scene on this Boom! Kids 2010 cover, where a heavily overloaded Scrooge McDuck trudges forward under an enormous pack of camping gear while Donald Duck cowers nervously beside him — all as an angry bear looms behind them clutching a string of sausages. Wanda Gattino's cover art brings a wonderfully comedic energy to the outdoor misadventure, with the characters' exaggerated expressions doing plenty of storytelling on their own. If "The Gold Hunt Part 2" promises even half the chaotic charm of this cover, Scrooge and Donald are in for quite a wilderness ordeal.
