Uncle Sam and Buddy travel to a fear-ridden mining town where they encounter a mysterious villain named Gypsy who possesses supernatural powers, including the ability to transform into a fire-breathing dragon and hypnotize people. The duo must stop Gypsy's scheme involving a supply train bound for enemy artillery while dealing with the villain's magical attacks and mind-control abilities. The story features action on multiple fronts, including a train hijacking and aerial bombardment by enemy bombers, before concluding with a cliffhanger involving the mysterious "Margo the Magician."
