An anthology issue containing two fables. The first story follows King Rolly and his men as they pursue the plunderer Carboni, who has kidnapped the king's daughter. A character named Spinaga leads the king's forces in pursuit while Carboni attempts to escape; the conflict culminates when King Rolly defeats Carboni in combat and recovers his daughter, after which the town celebrates Rolly and Beaumont as heroes for saving the community. The second story, "Fuzzy," tells of a dog who loses his bark and searches the farm animals—cow, horse, and hen—to find it; he eventually discovers it in a dresser drawer and learns to bark only when appropriate, such as to warn of intruders rather than for idle purposes.
