Uncanny X-Men #11
Cullen Bunn's Uncanny X-Men keeps the tension high in this 2016 Marvel entry, and Greg Land's cover makes a striking first impression: a fierce, dark-haired woman dominates the foreground, one gloved hand bearing a snarling, tooth-filled maw, while behind her a feral, blonde-haired figure grapples with a velociraptor amid lush foliage. Rounding out the composition, a dark-clad woman wielding a glowing psychic blade and a katana stands poised against a smoldering orange sky. Land's detailed linework — inked by Land himself and colored by Nolan Woodard — gives the whole scene a charged, dangerous energy that promises plenty of mutant mayhem within.
