“The Night the Sphinx Spoke!”

In "The Night the Sphinx Spoke!", a cunning criminal uses a hidden microphone to make the ancient Sphinx appear to speak, tricking the city into delivering jewels to its stone mouth. When detective Vince is arrested alongside his gang—only to discover they were set up—the real mystery begins: the pharaoh who claimed the gems wasn’t part of the act after all. Dick Ayers handles art, inks, and lettering, while Carl Burgos brings the eerie cover to life.
