Un long silence #2

From Glénat's 2015 French series comes the second volume of Un long silence, subtitled "Que la fête commence !" — and the cover suggests that whatever celebration awaits may be anything but joyful. Éric Stalner's moody artwork renders a young woman in a corset dress, bound and standing alone in a shadowy, debris-strewn room bathed in cold blue light, her posture caught somewhere between defiance and vulnerability. It's a striking, atmospheric image that sets a tense, unsettling tone for this thriller from Stalner.
