UltraForce #11

Malibu Comics' UltraForce faces something truly unsettling in issue #11 (August 1996), as the cover — penciled and inked by Mike Deodato Jr. — puts the team in desperate, close-quarters combat against a massive, clawed creature dominating the foreground. Prime leads the charge at center, with several teammates including a red-haired woman and a figure firing an energy blast pushing back against what appears to be a monstrous, armored threat, all set against a chaotic industrial backdrop. Len Wein scripts the main story, "Who... Or What... Is Specimen-13?", and as a bonus, fans get a G-Men back-up story tucked inside — solid value at the $1.50 cover price.
