“Breaking Point”

Tie-in to Marvel's 2016 Civil War II event, this issue of Al Ewing's The Ultimates carries a sharp dramatic hook right on the cover: Captain Marvel clutches a glowing briefcase while Black Panther and a spectral figure loom at the edges, with America Chavez, Blue Marvel, and Monica Rambeau gathered close behind her — all eyes fixed on that case and its ominous promise to destroy the Ultimates "…FOREVER!!!" Kenneth Rocafort's cover art does a terrific job of channeling tension within the team just as the wider Marvel Universe is tearing itself apart. "Breaking Point" sounds like exactly the right title for a moment this charged.
