The penultimate chapter of this five-part Marvel series arrives with a cover that earns every bit of its tension: a massive, spider-legged mechanical behemoth looms over a devastated landscape, firing blinding energy beams as explosions and debris fill the sky behind it, while a lone figure in red and gold armor stands defiantly small at its feet. Brandon Peterson's cover work conveys an almost overwhelming sense of scale, with Justin Ponsor's fiery color palette amplifying the sense of impending catastrophe. Mike Carey's story is clearly heading somewhere big, and with only one issue left after this, the stakes couldn't feel higher.
