The second chapter of this five-part Marvel series finds the Ultimate Universe's Vision in a deeply unsettling state — the golden android is depicted inverted and seemingly helpless, suspended among coiling mechanical tendrils while a single red eye glows with faint, eerie life. Brandon Peterson's cover renders Vision's sleek metallic form with striking technical detail, the lush coloring by Justin Ponsor giving the machinery an almost organic, threatening presence. With Mike Carey steering the story, this 2007 limited series clearly isn't shy about putting its synthetic hero through the wringer.
