In Ultimate Fantastic Four #47, Reed’s fixation on a mysterious cosmic cube isolates him from the team, even as a scientific symposium in Siberia offers a rare chance to step away from the lab. When Sue goes alone to the event, her plane is destroyed by Sorba, who takes her captive—leaving Reed to confront the consequences of his choices and the growing threat beyond the lab’s walls. Written by Mike Carey and illustrated by Mark Brooks, with colors by Justin Ponsor and letters by VC's Rus Wooton, this issue’s cover by Mark Brooks captures the tension with a striking, grounded image of the team’s unraveling.
