Ultimate Daredevil and Elektra #1

Marvel's 2003 miniseries kicks off with a cover that puts the tension between these two characters on full display — Elektra stands front and center in a combat-ready stance, sai in hand, her black tactical gear contrasting sharply with the looming red-clad Daredevil behind her. The composition makes clear this is very much her story as much as his, and Salvador Larroca's clean, confident linework gives both figures a striking presence. With Greg Rucka scripting and Larroca on interior art as well, this first chapter of four promises a grounded, character-driven take on one of Marvel's most compelling relationships.
