Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #28
Part of the "Spider-Man No More" arc, this 2013 installment from Brian Michael Bendis and Dave Marquez delivers a cover that's as visually striking as it is unsettling — three figures, including a red-haired woman, a dark-suited character, and a white-costumed figure, tumble helplessly along the surface of an enormous green object held in a massive hand, while Miles Morales in his Spider-Man suit scrambles to reach them from above. Marquez's composition makes brilliant use of scale, that looming green-and-grey giant hand dwarfing everyone on the cover and immediately conveying just how outmatched our hero might be. Justin Ponsor's vivid coloring keeps the whole scene electric, making this one of the more visually compelling entries in the Ultimate Comics run.
