The third chapter of Corbeyran and Otéro's alternate-history series finds three figures — two in heavy coats and one in a red military cap — gathered in a tense, shadowy meeting outside a shuttered metal door. Every surrounding brick wall is plastered with Cyrillic propaganda posters in bold red, painting a world where Soviet imagery dominates the urban landscape. Otéro's cover work is atmospheric and richly layered, making this 2019 Dutch-language album from Daedalus feel like stepping into a Cold War that never quite ended.
