# U.S. Border Patrol Comics #5 This anthology issue contains at least two stories: "Sergeant Dick Carter of the U.S. Border Patrol," in which Carter pursues a fleeing car driven by a woman named Miss Victory across the desert, leading to a confrontation at a gate where thugs are guarding a wrecked vehicle; and "Son of the Unknown Soldier," featuring John Smith standing in reverence at his father's tomb while receiving a patriotic vision from the Unknown Soldier himself, who charges him with defending American ideals against enemy forces. A third story, "Mr. Miracle," depicts a cosmic being with supernatural powers guiding a ship through dangerous waters toward the enemy.
