Looming out of a star-speckled void, a massive alien creature with glowing red eyes and rows of jagged teeth dominates this striking cover by Paco Medina and Juan Vlasco — and hurtling toward it are Red Hulk, hefting an enormous energy rifle, and Deadpool, armed to the teeth with guns and grenades. The title "Monsters n' S.H.I.E.L.D." promises exactly the kind of action this cover delivers: two heavily armed, larger-than-life personalities squaring off against something very, very big. Al Ewing's U.S.Avengers continues to be one of Marvel's most entertainingly over-the-top team books in 2017.
