U.S. Air Force Comics #13

This anthology issue contains two main Air Force stories. "No Way Out!" follows Major Ed Conlon, an important cog in the Air Defense Command, who must make a critical decision when three enemy fighters are destroyed and intrude upon his position. "The Canary Cage" features Moe Gallagher, whose aircraft's vulnerable tail gunner position—the "canary cage"—becomes a target during enemy fighter attacks, forcing him to defend his aircraft against German aircraft with machine gun fire. A third story focuses on a serviceman who receives a job offer from his cousin in the civilian airline industry but must choose between leaving the Air Force and staying with his military career and family.
