Casper learns that the animals are all playing pranks because the Jester told them to. When they turn on the Jester, Casper rescues him and asks him his story. He says that he's the jester to King Kool, and when the king suddenly started playing jokes on him, he ran away and decided to see whether he was the only one who didn't like to be the butt of pranks.
