☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeSpooky the friendly little ghost is clearly having a tough time with arithmetic in this charming 1965 Harvey Comics entry — his translucent head is split open to reveal a whirring array of colorful gears, while numbers like 3, 5, 6, 7, and 9 go flying in every direction as he puzzles over a sheet of math problems with pencil in hand. It's a wonderfully inventive image that captures the series' light, comedic spirit perfectly. Tuff Ghosts Starring Spooky #16 is a delightful snapshot of Harvey's knack for turning even the most relatable childhood frustrations into endearing ghostly fun.

Spooky wanders into a town called Spookyville, whose residents have been hoping he would come and live there, and scare off the troll that keeps eating all their food. Spooky agrees, but by the time the troll comes along he's gotten pampered and lazy and doesn't have enough boo power to scare it.
