Helen breaks up with Dick because she’s fallen in love with Army Sgt. Gordon Evans. Gordon gives her an engagement ring but is then transferred out of state for training. Helen waits patiently but one day receives a telegram from Gordon breaking their engagement. Dick and Helen reconcile, but when Helen meets Gordon again, her feelings are unclear. However, she discovers Gordon is a womanizer; with this knowledge, she marries Dick with a clear conscience.
