Flame graduates from drama school and she insists she’ll be a dramatic actor, rejecting her friend Danny’s offer to form a dance act. Flame gets a job in a play but director Mervyn demands she marry him or lose her job. She agrees, even though she and Danny love each other. When Flame sees Danny in the audience, she breaks down and is fired by Mervyn. Flame and Danny reunite and will act together from now on.
