“The Girl Back Home”

In "The Girl Back Home," Mike Sekowsky crafts a taut, suspenseful romance where Cora’s fleeting romance with the enigmatic Vince takes a twist when her travels across Europe reveal his true identity as a government detective on a secret mission. The story unfolds with quiet tension, blending personal emotion and Cold War-era intrigue, as Cora’s suspicions give way to unexpected revelation. Christopher Rule’s cover captures the mystery with a striking, shadowed portrait of Cora, her gaze fixed on an unseen threat.
