After becoming quite well known in America, Jane is offered a job as a fashion designer in London. She wants to leave New York because of painful memories there. The chief designer is initially cool toward her, but she doesn't care because she wants to concentrate on her career and doesn't want to get involved with men again. Over time, her relationship with the chief designer turns to love, but the old memories come back when the office junior tells her that the chief designer is secretly engaged to one of the models.
