For two years, Ruth had saved and trained to do a cycle trip around the world. But after bandits steal all her possessions, she falls in the hands of men who kidnap girls and sell them to a slave market. She is being sold when she sees the face of a westerner and pleads with him to help her. But the Bey wants him for himself and both Cliff and Ruth are brought to the palace as prisoners. While there, the Bey's ruthless sister takes an interest in Cliff.
