Hardy and Pete live in the flat above Esther's and both ask her to marry them numerous times, but she always says no. Then they ask her to pose as their fiancées to help them get a job opening in America for the company they work for. Appealing to her desire to be an actress, she reluctantly agrees and meets Grant as two completely different girls. Then Grant meets the real Esther to ask her about Hardy and Pete, but Esther begins to fall for Grant. Esther has to play her roles once more at a party, but this time Grant knows the truth.
