“Three Faces of Love”

"Three Faces of Love" in True Life Library #752 (1970) presents a charming, quietly tense domestic drama where Esther, caught between two neighbors' persistent proposals, agrees to a ruse: posing as their fiancées to secure a job opportunity in America. As she navigates her dual roles—pretending to be two different women for a charming suitor named Grant—her growing feelings complicate the charade, especially when Grant finally meets the real Esther. The story unfolds with subtle emotional shifts, all rendered in crisp, typeset lettering that keeps the focus on the characters’ shifting dynamics.

Appealing to her desire to be an actress, she reluctantly agrees and meets Grant as two completely different girls.
