Although Sally worshipped Rex, she was transferred to be the secretary for a different boss. Rex asked for Sally to help investigate four big claims for stolen jewelry in the last year where blackmail was suspected. The common link was a health and beauty clinic in Italy. Sally went undercover as the wife of a rich Australian sheep farmer and Kerry posed as her lover. During her time there, 'Miss Beanpole' is transformed into a beautiful woman and she returns to see if her new appearance will have an affect on Rex.
