While on vacation at Pine Lake, Speed discovers someone is trying to run the local lodge out of business through fatal or near-fatal accidents. Speed finds Brezlitt is responsible, but a mysterious hunchback kills Brezlitt before Speed can question him. As Speed enters a motorboat race, the hunchback is still lurking around.
