Trinity of Sin: Pandora: Futures End #1

Part of DC's 2014 "Futures End" event, this one-shot drops into a possible tomorrow where Pandora — rendered in striking magenta — is trapped within the jaws of an enormous golden skull, her expression fierce even as the ancient bone closes around her. Guillem March's cover art frames that tension beautifully, the swirling cosmic void behind the skull lending the whole image a sense of fate pressing in from every direction. Ray Fawkes scripts the story "Sacrifice" with interior art from Tom Derenick and Francis Portela, making this a compelling snapshot of one of the New 52's most enigmatic figures caught at a pivotal moment.
