Trinity: Daughter of Wonder Woman #3

Trinity stands center-stage in her blue-and-gold costume, bracelets raised defiantly above her head, while the looming faces of Wonder Woman and a mysterious young man watch over her from the background — and below her feet, the shadowy, horned visage of what appears to be a great beast lurks ominously. The story title "Gods and Corgis" promises a wonderfully eclectic mix of mythological stakes and something considerably more adorable, and the Greek-frieze-style border running across the middle of Belén Ortega's cover feels like a loving nod to the Amazonian heritage at the heart of this series. Tom King and Ortega are crafting something that feels both epic and warmly personal, and issue #3 looks like a great place to feel that tension build.
