Trials of Shazam #8

Issue eight of the twelve-part Trials of Shazam! miniseries delivers a striking image that sets an unmistakably tense tone: a figure tangled and crumpled on the ground, bound by a chaotic web of dark cables, stares out with an unsettling gaze while a luminous, godlike form looms large in a blaze of golden light above. The tagline "Atlas: Plugged!" hints at mythic stakes worthy of the series' grand ambitions.
