Treasure Comics #8 is an anthology featuring multiple adventure stories. "Captain Kidd Jr." follows a young sailor who must deal with a mutinous crew demanding a treasure map while navigating a desert pursuit. "The Arabian Knight" tells of a warrior whose town has been gripped by the cold fingers of grief, with people rotting in jail and a mysterious threat looming, as the knight seeks to understand and remedy the town's terrible plight.

Paul Bunyan stumbles upon what appears to be a murder in progress in the peaceful North Woods, only to discover the whole thing is a Hollywood film production gone hilariously wrong. When the well-meaning woodsman can't resist helping a damsel in distress—script be damned—he catches the eye of an ambitious film producer who sees in him the perfect star for a primitive action picture. Before he knows it, Paul is whisked off to Hollywood to become a movie star, where things get considerably more chaotic than anything he bargained for.
