Treasure Chest is an anthology issue containing a biblical story depicting the apostles' selection of Matthias to replace Judas following prayer and the casting of lots, as described in the Book of Psalms. The issue also features a "Treasure Chest of Science" section with instructional content on creating a homemade compass, demonstrating air pressure experiments, and bending water with a comb. Additionally, it includes a feature titled "Talking It Over with Father John" in which the priest discusses boxer Gene Tunney's reliance on faith and prayer to overcome fear during his training for a title bout with Jack Dempsey for the heavyweight boxing championship of the world.
