The tenth volume of Delcourt's Travis series brings the action to "New York Delaware," and Christophe Quet's cover sets a striking tone: a composed, dark-suited figure stands amid a burst of frozen, shattered environment, holding what appear to be a firearm and a blade while luminous yellow-green liquid pools at his feet. It's a cool, stylish image — controlled menace surrounded by chaos — that captures the kind of sleek thriller energy this Franco-Belgian series does so well. Fred Duval and Quet's 2011 collaboration looks like another sharp entry in the run.
