A 2014 Urban Comics edition collecting Warren Ellis and Darick Robertson's Transmetropolitan — "Année Deux" — this French-language volume puts the shaved, tattooed Spider Jerusalem front and center, hunched over a laptop amid falling confetti while two grinning, suited figures loom large on either side of him in a chaotic, neon-sign-lit cityscape. Robertson's linework bristles with anarchic energy, packing the cover with vivid street-level detail that makes the City feel gloriously overwhelming.
